Fashion by Hand: Breathe underwater (Placebo)

Today's post is about the most fresh and summery trend of spring 2012 collections. Previously we have talked about most of this season's trends but I saved the best for last. Under the sea trend was seen in quite many runway shows. The ocean concept has inspired several designers so we were lucky enough to enjoy the deep blue colours of the waters, ethereal sparkling gowns, mermaids, corals, starfishes, sea horses and crystals creating a futuristic under water world, with models appearing as sea goddesses by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen and nymphs by Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel. If you have already run through photos from this trend's looks you must have fallen in love with its magic! I definitely did, i mean what's the best way to celebrate summer and leave behind the boring dark colours of winter ( except pastels of course)? So I share with you some of my favourite outfits plus accessories from the best designers. Let's feel like little mermaids this summer. A new age Ariel in Chanel would be ideal!
